Minerva Coffee

ABOUT Minerva Coffee

The first thing you will notice as you enter Minerva Coffee on Road. No 12, Banjara Hills, is the vintage coffee roaster on the right. Visit the coffee shop over the weekends, between six and eight in the evening and you will be welcomed by the aroma of roasting coffee beans. The 40-year old machine was relocated from its home in the Himayath Nagar branch of Minerva Coffee, to the group’s new and hip subsidiary where guests can sip their coffee while watching it at work.
Like the machine, the roots of the café at Banjara Hills too run deep, all the way to Himayath Nagar and the other branches of Minerva Coffee in the city. In Hyderabad, Minerva Coffee Shops have become synonymous with freshly ground filter coffee. A coffee lover’s delight, the café doubles up as a miniature coffee museum of sorts. The roaster aside, the other end of the café has a roast and ground unit where guests can pick their blend and stand by as it ground and brewed to their desirable taste.
“Most coffee shops are typical of a pastry cooler and a coffee machine. We wanted something different and since we have our own coffee processing unit, we came up with this model"
