Kanwarji Dalbijiwala was established in the 18th century by the Late Lala Kanwarsain Ji. It was he who created the absolutely yummy ‘Dalbiji’. The family’s recipe has remained a secret and passed on from generation to generation. There are many competitors who have spent months and years trying to figure the recipe out, but none of them have been able to match the original. The Americans may have their potato fingers for baseball games, but for any Indian watching cricket, Aloo Lachha has to be the best accompaniment. And if the Aloo Lachha is from Kanwarji Dalbjiwala, watching the match becomes an even more unforgettable moment. Besides these, their Pista and Badaam Lauj are also huge favourites all over the country.
