1. Acceptance of your Order

 1.1 You can place an order through our website www.delightfoods.com.

 1.2 Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

   a)  The product you ordered is out of stock - see 7. Product Availability/Information below

   b)  Payment mode selected as Cash on Delivery, when products are not available for cash on delivery

   c)  Our inability to obtain authorization for your payment

   d)  The identification of a pricing or product description error

   e)  Failure to meet the eligibility to order criteria set out in the Terms and Conditions

   f)  We reserve the right to reject the acceptance of any order at any time in our absolute discretion

 1.3 Online

1.3.1 Shortly after you have placed an order with us, an email/SMS will be sent to you acknowledging the exact details of your order. This email/SMS is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Delightfoods.com. Should you not receive an acknowledgment within 1 business day, please contact our Customer Service team by calling +91080-4709-1449 from your mobile or a landline. Lines are open between 10 AM to 6 PM.

1.3.2 Acceptance of an order placed by you online and the completion of the contract between you and delightfoods.com will take place when your order is dispatched unless you have canceled the order in accordance with the order cancellation instructions set out below.

1.3.3 A member of our Customer Service team will be delighted to help you place an order over the telephone, advise you on the range of products we offer on our website and help you with queries about payment.

1.3.4 Our Customer Service team is available from 10 AM to 6 PM on all working days Monday to Saturday *National rates for landlines and mobiles apply. As some mobile and other network call charges may vary, please refer to your service provider for more details.

1.3.5 When you place an order over the telephone, you will be given a customer reference number as an acknowledgment of your order. Please note that your order is not accepted at this stage. We accept your order for an item ordered over the telephone at the point of your order being dispatched unless you have canceled the order in accordance with the order cancellation instructions set out below.

1.3.6 Telephone calls may be recorded for security and service monitoring purposes.

1.3.7 When an order is placed, we request pre-authorization for the value of the order from your bank/card issuer to ensure that the funds are available. However, this remains simply a pre-authorization request until the order is shipped, at which point we actually take payment. We have found that some card companies show the initial request and the later charge as two separate entries. Please be assured that we only charge your card once and that any 'second' charge is only temporary and will shortly disappear. If you have any further queries, please contact your bank/card issuer.

2. Order Cancellation

2.1  If you wish to cancel your order placed online or over the telephone, please contact our Customer Service team by Calling +91080-4709-1449 from your landline, from your mobile call on +91-98183 62962. Our customer care representatives are at your service 10 AM to 6 PM. You could even forward your acknowledgment email to us at [email protected], stating your intention to cancel the order. Alternatively, you may cancel your order when the delivery is done at your doorstep.

2.2 It may not always be possible to stop an order from being dispatched, as we endeavor to process orders immediately. If your order has already been dispatched, please return the order following the instructions contained within the parcel. Further details are set out in our Returns Policy in the section.

2.3 In order to change the details of your order, you must notify us within 30 minutes of your order being placed. Please have the order number handy. After this time, we will be unable to amend your order as we endeavor to process orders immediately. Therefore, we would request that you return the products once they have been delivered - refer to section 4 for our returns procedure. Please note that your right to return products does not apply to certain products, under special circumstances – refer to section 4 for the list of products. For cancelation of your order placed online or over the telephone, please contact the Customer Service team.

3. Returns& Refunds

3.1 Returns Policy - The Returns Policy is for products purchased on the website or through our website.

3.1.1 Unwanted, damaged or quality-related issue products may be returned for a refund. Please ensure to return them in their original condition, unused (with their original packaging), with all labels and tags still attached immediately after receipt of the products using the returns form provided or by calling the customer service center – products should fall under our patron protection period – We will consider damaged or deformed perishables as returnable/refundable if returned at the point of delivery.

As per our policy, the following product items may not be returned.

a) Personalized food products packed which have been packed for the consumer.

b) Any perishable goods including milk sweets, and products which has a shelf life of less than 15 days.

c) Any act by the customer, which may have led to the expiration of the replacement/refund process.

d) In case the customer plans on returning an item, post the patron protection period has expired. Please note no refund shall be considered for the options laid out above.   

3.1.2 Please ensure, you return the products to us in their original packaging. Although, your statutory rights as a consumer will not be affected. The goods are second hand without the packaging and we may not therefore be able to process your return. You can take the products out of the packaging to check suitability, but don't throw it away and please return it with the respective product. partial return of the order is accepted during the delivery process in case product shelf life is expired, quality is a problem, original packing is tampered in full not in parts of the product.

3.1.3 Refunds will be made for the original purchase amount against the original form of tender. If you are returning products and we would like to be credited with delightfoods credits, the original amount will be processed into your account. Free returns are available as per our discretion or incase of expedited delivery service was selected. Please note that in all other cases, postage or other return costs will be the customer's responsibility. Except in the case of damaged, faulty or incorrectly supplied product items.

3.1.4 When returning products on which you have received a discount or special offer, that discount/offer will no longer apply if you fall below the discount/offer threshold and the refund will be adjusted accordingly. Additionally, any free promotional product issued with an order must also be returned if you are returning those goods.

3.1.5 However, none of the above terms affect your statutory rights or your rights under the Consumer Protection Regulations when goods are faulty or incorrectly supplied. In the unlikely event of this being the case, please return the goods to us.

3.2 Returns Procedure

3.2.1 Delightfoods.com offers free returns on expedited deliveries or it is as per our discretion to offer free returns. This excludes the following circumstances:

         • Deliveries, which warrants a special delivery charge.

         • Deliveries from which are bulk supply and product packed supplies.

4. Payment Methods

4.1 We only accept payment for orders in INR.

4.2 We accept payment by American Express, Maestro, MasterCard, Visa and Visa Debit, delightfoods coupons.

4.3 If you choose to pay for an item using a payment card with a foreign currency denominated account, the account will still be taken in INR at the conversion rate applied by the relevant payment scheme at the time of processing your order.

4.4 Please note, we cannot guarantee the security of data, which you send us by email. Accordingly, please do not send us payment information using email. For details of the security measures we employ, please read our Security and Privacy policy.

4.5 Unless the information provided by you were used fraudulently or negligently by us, we will not be liable to you for any losses caused as a result of unauthorized access to the personal and transactional information you provide us when placing an order.

4.6 Please note that delightfoods does not accept cash or cheques as payment online or over the telephone. However, whilst processing any transaction with our customer service executive in person, any payments received via cheque towards order placed will only be executed once we have duly received the payment

5. Pricing Policy

5.1 All prices shown on the website are in INR. Tax will be applicable and shall be highlighted after checkout, before the final payment. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time without prior notice.

5.2 Although we try to ensure all our prices displayed on our website are accurate, errors may sometimes occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product item you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option to reconfirm your order at the correct price or cancel it. If we are unable to contact you, we may treat your order, in respect of the incorrectly priced item, as cancelled.

5.3 Delightfoods endeavors to ensure that all products offered on the website are available at the same price as it is offered on the various other market places, in case if the same items are listed by delightfoods, however if the brand itself list the product at different price delight foods can not be held responsible.

However, from time to time (particularly during Delightfoods Sale and promotional periods) we may offer additional discounts for purchases online at www.Delightfoods.com that do not apply in other marketplace’s or vice versa.

6. Product Availability / Information

6.1. We feature products/services on our website that have been carefully selected for an exclusive buying experience. Once a product is sold out, it will be temporally unavailable on the website and will only be available again once back in stock.

6.2. Prices of products/services may change from time to time. If items you order are out of stock, subject to a delay, or sold at a higher price than shown on your order, we will contact you at the email address or telephone number you provided when placing your order. If we are unable to contact you via telephone or email, we will cancel the part of your order that is unavailable or incorrectly priced and will continue to process the remaining items on your order (where applicable).

6.3. All products are subject to availability. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, it is necessary to substitute an item, the item will be of equal or greater value than the item it is replacing - substitutions will only be made with your prior consent. If a replacement item is of greater value, you will be liable to pay for the difference in product values.

IMPORTANT: Please note that during periods of significantly increased demand and lower stock availability, such as Sale, there is an increased risk of items being out of stock.

7. Delivery

Please note that the below delivery information applies only to orders placed online through Delightfoods.com. In case of COD, an order will only be executed once the payment has been duly received from the billing address.

7.1 Delivery Timing: We take pride in our well-knit delivery system throughout Delhi NCR. We are the pinnacle in delivering happiness to the doors of yourself and your loved ones. We would like to ensure a committed delivery of the products within 72 -96 hours of your order.

7.1.1 Please note that Delightfoods.com endeavors to provide you with an impeccable delivery timeline. However, in certain situations we will not be able to guarantee specific delivery date or time. Therefore, delivery times for products, hampers, experiences or any third-party product might vary from the one provided to you at the time of placing order. Also, this is subject to product being in stock and payment authorization. Delightfoods reserves right to cancel any order, if the delivery point is blacklisted in our delivery system – amount paid by the customer will be duly refunded

7.1.2 Delightfoods reserves the right to alter shipping charges at its discretion, under unpredictable circumstances – without citing permission from the customer.

7.2 India Delivery The following delivery charges apply to India addresses:

7.2.1 Standard Delivery (3 - 5 working days) and delivery charges as decided by delight foods from time to time

7.3 Delightfoods.com cannot be held responsible, if local taxation authorities wish to confiscate any particular item contained within a Hamper or Product Box or any other item ordered, or charges any extra duty on such items. The recipient is responsible for paying the duty. We cannot be held liable for any local duties payable on orders made. We urge, all our customers to make themselves aware of such local charges before ordering.

8. Packaging

8.1 Any product purchased from Delightfoods.com will be packed in Delightfoods branded covers. We as of now do not offer complimentary product-wrapping service for all orders placed through www. Delightfoods.com or our customer service team.

9. Delightfoods Wallet

9.1 Eligibility and Registration To Use The Services

As per our policy, you must be 18 years or older to use our Delightfoods wallet service. You will abide to provide accurate, current and complete information about yourself or your company as prompted by our registration form (including your email address) and maintain and update your information (including your email address) to keep it accurate, current and complete. Under any circumstances we reserve the right to terminate your account or your use of the site, if any information provided by you is found to be false, fictitious, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, with or without your consent.

  • As you enroll with us as our patron, you will be issued an user id and password to access your account. You will have an option of parking a sum of upto Rs. 50,000 with us as credit (subject to guidelines/notifications issued by RBI from time to time these limitations may be reviewed or modified at our discretion).Your information shall remain confidential and will not be shared until prescribed by you. You are responsible for all activity on your account, whether or not you authorized it.
  • However, if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account or your user id and password, please contact us immediately at [email protected] . Our customer care executive will get in touch with you as soon as we have your complaint with us.

9.2 Documentation

  • As per norms, rules and statutes issued by RBI from time to time under which Delightfoods has to collect, verify, audit and maintain correct and updated customer information.
  • This is a continuous process and Delightfoods.com reserves the right to take steps at any time to ensure compliance with all relevant and applicable KYC (know your customer) requirements.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue services/ reject wallet approvals at anytime, if there are discrepancies in information or documentation provided by you.
  • If the particulars provided by you in the KYC documents do not match with the details mentioned in the Enrollment Form, then we have the right to forfeit the balance amount in your wallet.

 9.3 General Service Conditions

  • You will be issued a basic membership account immediately after successful registration on our website. Your account will be upgraded to a ‘patron account’ after you submit your KYC documents at the time of registration itself or on a later date by emailing to us on [email protected] and the same are verified and approved by us . Your privileged patron account services shall ordinarily be activated after verification of the associated documentation.
  • You may recharge your Delightfoods wallet through our website or by calling in customer service executive at your desired address. The methods of recharging Delightfoods wallet are subject to change at our discretion without prior intimation to the customer.
  • You may note that withdrawing cash and refunds from delightfoods wallet are not allowed. Any outstanding credit must be utilized only to make payments for transactions at our product website and patron-to-patron transfers.
  • Our services are available only to resident Indians who have attained the age of 18 years and are competent to contract.
  • The maximum monetary value that can be stored at any point of time in your patron account is INR 50,000/-(INR Fifty thousand only).
  • The maximum permitted value of Transactions at any point of time is INR 50,000/- (INR Fifty thousand only).
  • The maximum monetary value that can be transferred from one patron account to other patron accounts in a single day month is INR 25,000/- (INR Twenty Five Thousand only). Subject to guidelines/notifications issued by RBI from time to time these limitations may be reviewed and modified at the discretion of Delightfoods.com without prior intimation to the Customer.
  • Redemption and Forfeiture
    Any value in Your Delightfoods wallet must be utilized:
    • Within 6 months from the date of Your last Transaction or
    • Within 6 months from the date of activation; whichever is later.
    • Any value in Delightfoods wallet, which is not utilized in the aforesaid manner, may stand forfeited at our discretion.
    • We reserve the right to forfeit the amount post adherence to the following communication process:
      • We will send 15 days advance communication to Customers for outstanding amount in Delightfoods wallet by SMS at the mobile number on which Services have been registered with.
      • In case no response is received from the customer, second reminder will be sent to the customer to respond within next 15 days
      • In case no response is received on the second reminder, third reminder will sent to the customer to respond within next 7 days.
      • Again if no response is received on the third reminder, amount will be tagged in the system as forfeited and send to Board for approval. Post Board approval forfeited amount will be recognized as income in books of account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend/discontinue Delightfoods  wallet services to you at any time, for any cause, including, but not limited, to the following-
    • For any suspected violation of the rules, regulations, orders, directions, notifications issued by RBI from time to time or for any violation of the terms and conditions mentioned in this document
    • For any suspected discrepancy in the particular(s), documentation or Enrollment Form provided by you;
    • To combat potential fraud, sabotage, willful destruction, threat to national security or for any other major reason.
    • If Delightfoods.com believes, in its reasonable opinion, that cessation/ suspension is necessary.
  • The value of amount stored in your wallet shall NOT be refunded under ANY circumstances.
  • No interest will be payable by us on the available balance reflected on the Delightfoods wallet.
  • You are permitted to maintain and operate only one Delightfoods wallet. Any suspected non-conformity with this requirement shall be just cause for the suspension/ discontinuation of any/all Wallets associated with you by us.
