Method
  1. Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the crushed ginger. Stir fry for a few seconds.
  2. Now add the Dal Tadka Masala powder mixed with 1/2 cup water, salt and cook on a low flame for another 7 min or until the oil floats on top.
  3. Add the cooked dal. Cook for another 7 min on low flame
  4. Remove from flame. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, mustard seeds and curry leaf tempered in 1 tbsp oil.
Serving Suggestion

Serve hot with roti, chapati or rice.
