1. Heat oil in a large pot. Add Mustard seeds, when they start to splutter add the curry leaves, and hing. Now add the cooked lentils with chopped tomatoes
  2. Add 2 ½ cups of water, Salt, Turmeric and let it come to a boil.
  3. Next add the Ace Iyengar’s Rasam powder mixed with ¼ glass water and simmer this mixture for 10 min on a low flame.
  4. You can add 1 tsp ghee just before you remove the rasamfrom the flame for a rich flavour ( optional) and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
Serving Suggestion

Serve hot with rice.
