1. Heat oil in a large pan. Add Mustard seeds, when they start to splutter add the curry leaves, hing and chopped capsicum and small onions. Sauté them.
  2. Next add the cooked bisi bele bath powder mixed with ½ glass water, Salt, Turmeric tamarind water and cook for a few min on low flame.
  3. Now add the cooked vegetables, cooked rice and cooked dal. Add enough water to make it to slightly runny consistency and boil the bath for at least 5 to 8 min. stirring all the while.
  4. You can add 1 tbsp ghee just before you remove the Bisi bele bath from the flame for a rich flavour ( optional).

Serve hot with potato wafers and vegetable raita
